Key Considerations
Key Considerations: The following may identify prevailing risk factors and other considerations that can be mitigated by the implementation of the OMR program.
- Lender financial and compliance reporting is deficient and not effectively promoting lender interests and relations.
- Principals of the organization are not provided appropriate and timely informational reporting to adequately assess
and monitor financial and operating performance of distinct and collective business interests. - The organization and efficiency of financial accounting and reporting routines requires improvement to maintain a
higher level of productivity, control and proficiency - Financial information is not subject to adequate / routine analytic review and interpretation. The MD&A
component of the OMR program provides an opportunity to timely detect accounting irregularities or other matters
requiring management attention. - Current development of information systems and management reporting is critically dependent on reaffirming the
propriety of the form and content of available data, key factors and desired reporting needs. - Management line personnel at the business unit level require further training and development in assuming direct
ownership in the financial management of their operations. The nature and scope of informational reporting needs
to be more narrowed and customized. Financial and clinical management practices need to be better integrated
and exhibited. - The timeliness and integrity of financial management reporting promotes the effectiveness and efficiency of HOST
personnel in the conduct of their respective duties. The scope of informational reporting needs to be reevaluated
prioritized and limited to more critical areas driving operations improvement.
